The Crossing

 "The Crossing", is written as historic fiction during the 1750's - a time period following the Seven Years' War between the French and British. American Indians fought on both sides of this epic war, and some were friendly while some were savages. Mail order brides, missionaries, fur trappers . . .people of all walks 

  I'm currently enjoying reading Jeanna Bush Hager's most recent book, "Everything Beautiful in Its Time". It's a tribute to her grandparents, the close relationships they shared, and how they shaped her life. She writes like she talks, which for me is quite entertaining. 

Another daily favorite read of mine is, “I Hear His Whisper”, by Brian Simmons and Gretchen Rodriguez. It’s a daily devotional that has really ministered to me. The messages seem to speak directly to me and often seem as if the Lord himself is sending a special word of encouragement or insight for that day.
